Mendenhall Glacier was on my "must see" list. It's part of the Juneau Ice Field. It's about 12 miles out of Juneau, Alaska.

Most impressive place!
I loved that place, and while G walked almost up to the glacier face, I knew I was too slow to do it. DArn it. Hugs at ya.
