The Sound of Rain

A noisy, wild storm showed up last night. The trees took beating again and the roads have roof shingles on them. No one was injured. Power lines were down a block from me but it didn't go out here just kept blinking off and on. I finally turned everything off and went to bed with book and fell asleep in spite of the racket. Good evening to stay in. We do need the rain in Eastern WA but still...

Glad no one was hurt, and I'm sure the rain is a blessing, the rest of it you could surely do without.

The winds have been high here too. Damage is common these days it seems. Glad no one was hurt!

Oh wow! That sounds spooky. I guess it's spring weather.

I hope those aren't your cars, chimney, or trees. Glad you could sleep well.

No, not my cars etc. We lost a few branches, pretty minor. We are prone to year round wind storms, spring and fall are the most powerful and frequent. The summer ones with heat are the scariest when things catch fire and spread rapidly. We often just get a lot dust up our noses.
