Birthday Boy
Happy Birthday to my youngest son David. This is what he was doing on his birthday last year at this time. This is what he's doing today.

David in his happy place 2018.

This is David at 9 months just starting to walk.
Soon he was off and running and hasn't stopped since.
I posted the baby photo on f-book. He posted he has the same haircut again. He's out fishing somewhere this lovely May morning. Tomorrow he, his wife and his four youngest kids are piling in the van and heading out on a vacation. He also has one daughter graduating from college this May, and two girls graduating from high school, one has gotten her AA at community college as well and will start college as a junior in the fall. Nine kids, three home made, and 6 adopted. Who could imagine what that tiny boy would do later.
At age 7 all he wanted to do was fish or hunt fossils. He renamed himself David Salmon, after his favorite fish.He was a handful in high school, blah grades, tardy always, but got first place WA State AA wrestling in his senior year. He took 2nd his junior year. He was the guy who would always be there helping out his friends in high school but we had some humdinger battles. They were loud but brief. He would end up laughing at me and say "what are you going to do, put me under your arm and stick me in my room?" Then he went away and got his Geology degree, And a lovely wife. And kids.
Nine kids, and yes, I said those words "I hope you have 10 kids just like you." Be careful what you say. Love you forever Dave, and your sweet wife and all those kidlets too.
